Alcoholism is a part of my story, stemming from a family plagued by this disease. Despite the challenges, I’ve confronted my fears and overcome obstacles in the hope of breaking this generational curse. My journey of recovery has taught me the true meanings of hope and resilience. I believe that nothing worth having comes easy, and giving up isn’t an option for me. Working at Haven has given me a profound sense of purpose and belonging. I’m incredibly grateful to work with other women and to be able to give back what was so freely given to me.
